Master Colab’s infinite canvas. Learn to upload reference images for AI editing, import videos for motion design, and organize your workspace using Frames.

Upload Image

  • What It Does Quickly import images from your device to the Colab canvas, serving as the foundation for AI-powered editing, mockup generation, or design composition.
  • How to Use
    • Click the ”+” icon in the left toolbar / You can also drag and drop image files directly onto the canvas.
    • Select “Upload Image”
    • Choose an image file from your device (supports JPG, PNG, etc.)
    • The image appears on the canvas, ready for Mark editing or AI transformation

Upload Video

  • What It Does Import video files to the canvas for frame-by-frame editing, motion design, or video-to-design conversion workflows.
  • How to Use
    • Click the ”+” icon in the left toolbar / You can also drag and drop video files directly onto the canvas.
    • Select “Upload Video”
    • Choose a video file from your device (supports MP4, MOV, etc.)
    • Colab processes the video and makes it available for editing

Frame

  • What It Does Add structured frames to your canvas for organizing multiple design elements, creating mockups, or building multi-panel layouts. Frames act as containers for grouped content.
  • How to Use
    • Click the ”+” icon in the left toolbar
    • Select “Frame” (Shortcut: F key)
    • Drag on the canvas to define the frame size
    • Add content inside the frame for organized design layouts

Upload SVG

  • What It Does Import SVG files directly onto the canvas for scalable, resolution-independent vector editing. Perfect for icons, logos, illustrations, and brand assets.
  • How to Use
    • Click the ”+” icon in the left toolbar / You can also drag and drop SVG files directly onto the canvas.
    • Select “Upload SVG”
    • Choose an SVG file from your device
    • Colab renders the SVG on the canvas, preserving vector paths and allowing full editing
